Volume 1 of the Hyperdominions cycle
Allain begins by noting the heterodox Antichthonic theorists who suggest that the Counter-Earth is a neutron star. What does this imply?
The neutron star, Allain argues, is a more terrible figure than Cthelll. "Dimensionality itself breaks down."
As particular electric polarity is crushed repetitively into the dead form of the neutron, matter loses its sense. The star itself assumes the form of a colossal nucleus devoid of all the elemental meaning invested by the index of proton quantity, as senseless as it is horrific.
